Louisa Dickinson specialises in workplace mediations. Louisa brings strong communication skills and a sensitive, practical approach to her work guiding discussion and encouraging those involved to find a mutually acceptable resolution to the issues raised.
Louisa worked at the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission for 8 years, conciliating and investigating complex discrimination and sexual harassment complaints.
This work provided her with significant experience in dealing calmly and impartially with high-conflict, emotional situations and assisting with their resolution.
She has legal and human resources and industrial relations qualifications and has previously worked as an employment lawyer and workplace relations adviser, conducting matters across a range of equal opportunity and industrial jurisdictions.
Louisa has delivered many training sessions on employment, discrimination and dispute resolution issues to a range of audiences. She has also made submissions to, and appeared before, a number of government enquiries into workplace issues.
Louisa is an accredited Mediator and Member of the Victorian Association for Dispute Resolution.
