Worklogic Directors Jodie Fox and Rose Bryant-Smith have been appointed to teach the new Master of Laws subject “Conducting Workplace Investigations“, as Senior Fellows at the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne.

The subject explores the current legal framework applying to workplace investigations in Australia, and how best to minimise risks in the investigation of employee complaints and conduct concerns. It will build foundational knowledge, and delve into the complex issues of legal professional privilege, concurrent investigations by regulators, industrial issues and managing mental health concerns.

“This is a rapidly developing area of legal practice. We’ve tailored the course for lawyers and in-house practitioners, including HR, workplace relations and compliance managers, to bring them up-to-date with the latest cases and legal developments”, says Jodie Fox.

“As independent investigators and former lawyers ourselves, we’re excited at the opportunity to share our practical and technical knowledge at Melbourne Law School,” says Rose Bryant-Smith.

Enrolments are now open, with the lectures commencing in June 2020.
